Bletchley Park

The central site for British codebreaking during World War II, located in Buckinghamshire. It housed thousands of cryptanalysts, mathematicians, and support staff who produced Ultra intelligence from intercepted German and Axis communications. The site saw the development of the Bombe and Colossus, the world’s first programmable electronic computer, fundamentally altering the course of the war.
