Boeing YC-14

An experimental short takeoff and landing (STOL) transport aircraft developed in the 1970s. It was the first major aircraft to utilize upper-surface blowing, a technique that placed jet engines above the wing to use the Coandă effect. This allowed the exhaust to be directed downward over the flaps, generating massive amounts of lift at low flight speeds.
