Cambyses II

The second king of the Achaemenid Persian Empire, reigning from 530 to 522 BCE. Son of Cyrus the Great, he is primarily known for his conquest of Egypt. His death, which is shrouded in some mystery, precipitated a period of political turmoil and rebellions that Darius the Great claims to have suppressed.
