Concept

countable infinity

A mathematical concept describing the size of a set whose elements can be paired one-to-one with the natural numbers. Denoted by the symbol aleph-null, it is the smallest possible infinite size. Though it contains an endless number of items, they can be arranged in a sequence or list, a property that distinguishes it from the denser uncountable infinities found in the real number line.
