Henri Coandă

A Romanian inventor and aerodynamics pioneer born in 1886. Coandă designed the first jet-propelled aircraft, the Coandă-1910, and discovered the fluid attachment phenomenon that bears his name while observing how exhaust gases followed the fuselage. He held over 2,500 patents and was a key figure in the development of unconventional aircraft designs during the early 20th century.
