Minoan civilization

A Bronze Age Aegean civilisation that flourished on the island of Crete from approximately 2700 to 1450 BCE. Known for its expansive palace complexes, such as Knossos and Phaistos, the Minoans developed sophisticated art, maritime trade networks, and two scripts, Linear A and Cretan Hieroglyphic, neither of which has been fully deciphered.
