non-Newtonian fluid

A non-Newtonian fluid is a substance whose viscosity changes under applied stress or force. Unlike Newtonian fluids like water, which have a constant resistance to flow, these liquids can become thinner or thicker when stirred, squeezed, or impacted. Common examples include shampoo, custard, and blood, all of which exhibit complex behaviours like the Kaye effect due to their internal molecular structures.
