Planck length

The Planck length is the smallest possible meaningful unit of distance in theoretical physics, approximately 1.616 × 10⁻³⁵ metres. Derived from fundamental physical constants, it represents the scale at which quantum effects of gravity become dominant and the classical notions of space and time break down. Below this length, current theories of physics are inadequate, requiring a theory of quantum gravity for description.
