Salyut 7

A Soviet space station launched in 1982 as part of the Salyut programme. It was the site of one of the most impressive repair missions in space history in 1985, when Vladimir Dzhanibekov and Viktor Savinykh docked with the completely powerless, freezing station to bring it back to life. It was during this mission that the rotational instability of the wing nut was famously recorded.
