Daniel Levin

Daniel Levin, wearing glasses and a light blue shirt, stands against a neutral background.

American cognitive psychologist, now at Vanderbilt, who collaborated with Daniel Simons on the foundational change-blindness studies of the late 1990s. Levin's later work extends the question to event perception and to the surprisingly wide gulf between what observers think they have seen and what their visual systems actually registered.
