Hyatt Regency Kansas City

A Hyatt Regency Kansas City hotel stands tall with a glass-roofed atrium featuring three suspended skywalks, illuminated warmly against a sunset backdrop.

A 40-storey hotel that opened in July 1980 at the corner of Pershing Road and Grand Boulevard, anchored by a glass-roofed atrium with three suspended skywalks crossing its lobby. After the 1981 collapse it reopened the same year, was rebranded several times, and now operates as the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. The atrium remains, the walkways do not.
