Jerry Burger

A psychologist at Santa Clara University who conducted a famous partial replication of the Milgram experiment in 2009. By stopping the experiment at 150 volts—the 'point of no return' identified in Milgram’s original data—Burger was able to study obedience within modern ethical guidelines, finding that compliance rates had changed little since 1961.
