Bosnian Serb typesetter, 19 years old in 1914, a member of the same Young Bosnia cell as Princip. He threw the grenade that bounced off Franz Ferdinand's car on the morning of 28 June. His suicide attempt failed; he was sentenced to twenty years and died of tuberculosis in a prison hospital in Bohemia in January 1916, having reportedly returned to Catholicism in his last weeks.
