British cognitive scientist who, while at University College London, conducted some of the few extended interviews with working professional chicken sexers in the 1990s. His 2002 working paper remains a standard reference on the inarticulacy of expert sexers and is widely cited in the literature on tacit knowledge and implicit learning.
