Voyager 2

A circular device with a central hub and radiating spokes, mounted on a white base with metallic components, likely representing the Voyager 2 spacecraft's scientific instrument.

NASA probe launched 20 August 1977, the only spacecraft to have flown past all four outer planets. Built around a radioisotope generator and a 3.7-metre dish antenna, it crossed the heliopause into interstellar space in November 2018 and continues to return data on the interstellar medium. Its sibling Voyager 1, launched sixteen days later on a faster trajectory, crossed the same boundary in 2012.
