Cornell University

A grand entrance to Cornell University features a large arched window above a double door, with the university's name prominently displayed above the arch.

Ivy League research university in Ithaca, New York, founded in 1865. Its psychology department hosted Daniel Simons in the late 1990s when he and Daniel Levin ran the door study on a campus walkway. The fieldwork was Cornell-side, on real undergraduates who were genuinely just trying to give directions to a stranger holding a map.
